Heading

Tuesday 30th September '25.  200 years have passed since the first railway locomotive and carriages ran in the UK on the Stockton and Darlington railway, on 27th September 1825. We would like to celebrate this at our club by having 200 (Or as near as possible) locomotives on display on the next running night, on the 30th September.

Club members can bring in British or British built locomotives (Steam, Diesel or Electric outline) or locomotives that ran in this country in the last 200 years.  Any scale within reason, but no 12” to the foot! It would be best if no multiple units are involved, just due to size.

If you wish to participate, please let the club know how many locos you will bring in. Please note we may not be able to accept all on that evening as we would like as many members to bring in and display at least one of their models.
